

Who We Are
Sri Balarama Das is the Founder and Project Director of Jalangi Properties, with over a decade of experience in residential project planning, execution, and community-focused development. His core strength lies in hands-on project management, ensuring clarity, coordination, and consistency from planning through completion.
He first arrived in India in 1994 at the age of 11, and later travelled internationally as the personal secretary to His Holiness Srila Gopal Krishna Goswami, gaining early exposure to organisation, responsibility, and cross-cultural coordination.
After settling permanently in Sri Mayapur Dham in 2008, he served for five years in managerial and advisory roles within ISKCON Mayapur, contributing to community administration and coordination. He later worked internationally in a senior purchase and sales management role with a large chemical manufacturing company, gaining experience in structured operations, quality control, and contract negotiations.
Over the past 10 years, he has overseen the completion of 127+ residential apartments, covering nearly 130,000 square feet, including projects such as Jalangi Dham and Sri Ji Bhavan.
For us, real estate is not about scale - it is about care and responsibility. Every project we undertake is built with the understanding that homes carry lives, families, and daily routines within them.
Our approach is simple:
build well, communicate clearly, and stand by our work long after handover.
That philosophy has guided our journey from the very beginning - and continues to shape every decision we make today.


We believe that development carries a responsibility beyond construction. Alongside our residential projects, we quietly support community initiatives in and around Mayapur, focusing on local welfare, basic needs, and neighbourhood well-being.
These efforts are carried out without publicity or promotion, as a natural extension of our long-term presence in the area. Our aim is simple: to contribute positively to the community we work in and to remain accountable to the place we call home.

Our work is spread across different parts of Mayapur, where we have been developing residential projects since 2015. During this period, we have been involved in the planning and completion of over 127 apartments, covering approximately 130,000 square feet, across 1, 2, and 3 BHK gated residential communities.
We focus on small to mid-scale developments intended for long-term residential use rather than short-term turnover. Before beginning any project, we take time to understand each site and its immediate surroundings—access, infrastructure, utilities, drainage, and the practical requirements of maintaining the building once residents move in.
Our projects are carried out in coordination with local consultants, contractors, and suppliers who are familiar with conditions across Mayapur. This close involvement allows us to maintain consistency in construction quality while responding carefully to site-specific conditions.
After construction is completed, we assist in setting up maintenance systems so that buildings continue to function smoothly over time. Many of our completed projects remain occupied and maintained today, reflecting an approach focused on durability, functional layouts, and responsible development.
